How it works
Piers per side are home length divided by pier spacing, rounded down, plus one pier at the end. Total piers double that for both sides. This is a count from your spacing only — it does not size the piers or footings.
Frequently asked questions
What spacing should I use?
That depends on soil bearing, the trailer frame, and the home's structure. Do not guess it from this page — get it from an engineer for your site.
Does this include a centre row of piers?
No. This counts two side rows only. A centre row, if your design needs one, is extra.
