How it works
Subtotal is the sum of flights, accommodation, food, transport, activities and other costs. Contingency is that subtotal multiplied by your contingency percentage. Total is subtotal plus contingency. Cost per person is total divided by travellers, and cost per day is total divided by days.

A 10% margin is a common starting point for price changes and small extras. Raise it for longer or less predictable trips.
